The Lake Tansi Exchange Club Honored for Service

The Lake Tansi Exchange Club was presented with a certificate for Meritorious Service for hosting the 2022 Field of Honor®. Anna Holmes accepted the certificate and thanked the American Legion Post #163 for the recognition. She also added how successful the Field of Honor® was last year and hoped to see involvement from Post #163 for an even better event in 2023. Chaplain Jerry Brownstead was very complimentary of the Lake Tansi Exchange Club in remembering all Veterans and our club’s service to Cumberland County.
LTEC members in attendance were Anna Holmes, Mary Vesper, Judi Hartman, Tim Witherite, Gus & Sally Rogers, Pat & Everette Smith, Reggie Blair, and Marcy Tucker.
Helping Our Community to be BETTER

LTEC board members, Judi Hartman, Tim Witherite, Marcy Tucker and Anna Holmes attended the Stephens Center board meeting in Livingston on Thursday, January 20, 2023. They proudly presented a check for $3,000 to help the Center continue to provide services and education for healthy families. The LTEC partners with the Stephens Center for the prevention of child abuse and is actively involved in helping with supplies, funds and even a Christmas party for the children in December.
This $3,000 will be in addition to what the club gifts the Stephens Center every May. Every child deserves a GREAT childhood!
