35th Annual Golf Tournament
June 5, 2021
The Lake Tansi Exchange Club had a sell-out tournament of golfers for the 35thth annual golf tournament fundraiser. The weather cooperated this year and golfers enjoyed a great time on the links with all proceeds going to the prevention of child abuse in Cumberland County.
Players were treated with dinner which included BBQ pork by Linda Carothers, Anna Holmes’ Bush beans, cole slaw & home made treats by Sue English, water donated by Dave Kirk Chevrolet, and goodies donated by Flowers Bakery.
Prizes were awarded for:
- Hole in One for a new car from Dave Kirk Chevrolet on hole #3
- Closest to the pin, men or women on par three holes 3 & 6
- Closest to the pin on hole #12 for women only; and hole $15 for men only
- Longest drive, men and women, on hole #9
- Most accurate drive, men and women, on hole #16
- Longest putt, men or women, on hole #15
- Lowest team score for ladies, men, and mixed flights
